Heaven's Gate Cult Zine
A biographical book in a risograph zine-like style about Marshall Applewhite and his founding of the cult Heaven’s Gate. Limited to a colour palette of only blue and purple. Went for the retro 80s-90s feel for the zine. Structure in the way of a satirical recruitment pamphlet.
Polaroid Product Catalog
A concept idea of how I would create a product catalogue for Polaroid. Simple, minimalist, and easy to read and absorb information.

SHOE POSTERS
A collection of sneaker-based posters revolved around the theme of showcasing their design and colours while banking on certain nostalgic retro themes.
GRUNGE Y2K POSTERS
A series of grungy posters depicting a varied set of topics such as the films I'm interested in or snarky humour and artist posters.
ALL THE GOOD GIRLS GO TO HELL
Posters done in a grunge style for the purpose of an assignment based on the song All The Good Girls Go To Hell - Billie Eilish. I wanted to accentuate that humanity has both good and bad within them.
PROJECTS
BACKDOOR'D
Tasked to create a card board game for an assignment, I decided to do a game centred around the idea of 'Backdooring' in sneaker culture which means smuggling new shoes before its release date. The game contains cards of sneaker illustrations and details as well as a simple board to play. The box is shaped and styled in the way of a shoe box.
GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL PROPS
Mock props created in inspiration after real-life The Grand Budapest Hotel props by Wes Anderson. I tried to replicate the original props as close as possible but adding some flair and personal touches to the design. I leaned towards a vintage style and typography.
MENTEGA BRAND MOCK WEBSITE
A mock website I did on Figma and coded on MS Visual Studio for Mentega brand hair products. I went with their brand's colour palette as well as their minimalism on their brand identity and this is the website I came up with.
CAMERA MASCOTS
For digital illustration class, I created a set of camera mascot postcards and even made t-shirts in black and white to go along with it. The front visual shows the film mascots saying Shoot Film, Not People. The back, the other camera mascots.
FILMGAZING MASCOT
Freelance work, where I created a film retro mascot for the brand new opening of Filmgazing's new branch at Kedai KL. It adorns the brand colours and logo.
SUNWAY UNIVERSITY PLAQUE DESIGN
A Sunway University plaque design I did as part of a class. I included their notable features such as I Heart SU, Destiny statue, sunbears, and their university building.
DUCK-THEMED SPOOF PRODUCTS
A series of 3 products which are duck-themed and have retro mascots with a sense of humour and symbolism infused; Duck N Cover, Drake's Bath Water and Ducky Voorhees's Cereal Killer which are part of a small exhibitive work.
Dune Hot Sauce
The spice must flow. The Dune Hot Sauce label with the sandworm as the center point against the Arrakeen dunes - cause y'know, sandworms create spice and hot sauce is spicy, yeah.
Ghostbusters Goop Juice
Ghostbusters and ghosts have a lot of ectoplasm slime. So I made it into a juicebox ready for disgusting consumption. Grape and apple flavoured, with Slimer sipping on some good juice there.
Fight Club Soap
The most iconic symbol of the show - the pink soap bar made of human fat, ew. So make the soap fight its own fights too.
Matrix Pill Box
Dr Morpheus's red & blue pills. Iconic. Choose between the blue or the red pill but careful, you can only choose once. It's either reality or comfort of illusion.
Godfather Pizza
Godfather and the haven of New York Pizza, so make it into one. Styled in the iconic pizzeria decals and bunch of references to the movies. I mean every product has a reference.
THE REEL DEAL
The Reel Deal is the identity of a bodega-inspired nostalgic retro shop that specializes in old films, movies, cameras & paraphernalia. I designed a reel mascot to go with it, cards, fake grocery placards, t-shirts, workshirts, caps and accompanying merchandise. Real items were presented during my final year project.
FACULTY OF ART SUNWAY PINS
During a 2-week internship for FASS (Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences), Sunway University, I was tasked to create potential enamel pin designs for graduants. Version 1 utilizes mascots and infuses personality and symbolism of each course and department. Each pin represents the course.
